Issey Miyake's flanker A Drop d'Issey Eau de Parfum Fraiche is an enhanced version of the original release, allowing us to see the beautiful lilac from different angles. If the flagship aroma depicted fragrant branches under the hot sun, this time fragile violet clusters tremble under the spring rain. Transparent droplets, like pearls, quiver on the branches, intensifying the scent, prolonging the life of the lilac bush, and reflecting the rainbow appearing in the sky.
An optimistic, life-loving composition was created by perfumer Ane Ayo. The naturalness of the pyramid is striking - the synthetic rain note reflects the entire cycle. The sky darkened with clouds, the air became heavy, the wind swept through the treetops and hid the sun rays, and the approaching storm could be heard more and more clearly. Raindrops merrily tapped on the leaves, and the smell of ozone filled the space - damp earth, coolness of greenery, lilac blossoms. This rain passed, cleansing the world, enhancing all olfactory senses, allowing us to perceive everything anew.
The lilac haze is created by the molecule Lilac Firbest - powder, almond, and freshness bring the lightness of spring to the center of the pyramid, while Damask rose is intended to sweeten and soften the perfume. And, of course, the woodiness - darkened by the rain, it is distinctly felt in the finale of Issey Miyake A Drop d'Issey Eau de Parfum Fraiche, where the piney cedar envelops the creamy sandalwood with its shade.
